I believe the thread defines or tries to define the scope of this discussion group, although some of the topics have not been actively covered by participants.

The potential participants are all over the world. Most of them do not know this group yet. We should gradually build up reputation and credit here and draw more participants' attention. Consequently, more topics will be covered.

This is also the way (in my mind) for other groups.
