刚看到的,英国Nottingham 大学招NCCCS PhD Scheme - Carbon Capture and Storage in China
不知道有没有童鞋看到过,申请过。
个人认为是当前蛮热门的。 唯一的劣势是学校只付tuition fees at the UK/EU rate。 这样的话,基本上stipend £13,590 per year 只能cover 掉学费。 生活费需自筹。 不过,相对于目前的找英国博士形势来说,也是难得了。

The Nottingham Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage is delighted to offer a PhD Studentship in:
Carbon capture and storage in China – technology, policy, international collaboration and implications for the global climate challenge.
As both the world’s largest greenhouse gas emitter and an increasingly responsible stakeholder in international affairs, China has promised to tackle the global climate change challenge, and indeed, the challenge of sustaining its economic growth, fiercely by not only reducing emissions and raising energy efficiency but also developing and adopting the most advanced technology. Carbon capture and storage (CCS) has become one of the choices by the technical community and corporations. Given its overwhelming dependence upon coal in its energy production, China has no choice but follow suit. Assuming that the doctoral student understands the technical side of CCS, the project will focus the issue from the policy perspective, examining the technology implementation, international collaboration around CCS and the possible political and economic implications for global climate change. Part of the research will also consist of highlighting the differences between Chinese and international policies and regulations – to include how policies and regulations at the Chinese government level are then applied by local governing bodies.
Qualification Requirement: Students should have a first or upper second class honours degree, or equivalent Masters degree in a related subject. The student must have a technical understanding of CCS. A Chinese Speaker would be highly desirable.
This PhD scheme will provide students with the opportunity to work under world class researchers based both at the British Geological Survey and the University of Nottingham. The student will be awarded their PhD from the University of Nottingham.
This studentship is available to commence in October 2012. A tax-free stipend starting from £13,590 per annum is available for three years, plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate.
