Brief History

In November of 1997, Arcis listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange as RKS with an initial public offering of $6 million.

On February 29th, 2004 Arcis became a privately-held company, having completed the legal process to privatize.

to answer the questions:

"Arcis" is the partner of "Fusion".
They are both service companies.
Dr. Satinder Chopra is in arcis and Dr. John Castaga is in Fusion.

I guess the idea of spectrum decomposition and thin bed reflectivity is developed by Dr. John Castaga.

Spectrum decomposition is related to converted wave, attenuation, and thin bed and so on.

Thin bed reflectivity is only related to the thin bed thickness.

"Layer-thickness determination and stratigraphic interpretation using spectral inversion: Theory and application"
is Charles' Master thesis work.

Exponent pursuit has better resolution than matching pursuit.
