If that is true, you will find a huge market for offshore platforms, especially deepwater facility.
In offshore platforms in US, even there are unlimited seawater for RO, due to HSE issues, it is cheaper to boat lift fresh water from shore to platform.

I know some US company use Reverse Osmosis Water Maker in China. Is the standard different in US field?
Reverse Osmosis Water Maker is expensive, I change the Membrane for one maker, one membrane costs 3000 USD, 66EA totally.

Yes RO is the standard for US, but as I said in my first reply, US company will use RO only when fresh water can't be truck in, boat lift or fly in. Hence if OP can substain his/her claim, that will represent a major break thru.

As I know, that company use the RO to make Polished Water for Boiler. It needs a lot of Polished Water, so I think use RO can decrease the cost although the RO is expensive. Is this reasonable?

I don't know the situation in China hence can't make any comment. As for US, we still prefer truck in. However, if the economics tips towards RO, I think you may see more RO.
