谢谢！但是现在我还了解的很少，我到这里来是来“请教”的，还希望大家能发表一些国内外，尤其是国外的油田智能化发展的信息！

if you only has 很少, it shouldn't take you long to summarize what you understand regarding digital oilfield and give us your observation regarding the subject. (BTW, don't upload any copyrighted papers or articles)


When I talked to college students, I can separate the native US chinese students from mainland chinese students by observing the students in discussion group.

I found students from mainland China are quick to ask questions, but not willing to give their opinions. Frankly, I don't believe that is not due to "shyness". I stongly believe it is the result of culture and education system. I believe it is not health and should be changed.

If everyone in this forum is only “请教" (just taking and not giving back), would this forum serve your purpose.

You may argue that you don't want to show the world that you know nothing about the subject or having the incorrect idea. Well, if you don't talk, noone will give you the correct information and you still have not learned. By not knowing your intention nor your level of knowledge, the discussion will be off the path. In both cases, you end up wasting yours and others time and bandwidth.


Since you are unwilling, so I will put the stone in the soup for you.

The service companies may make you believe DOF is a mature technology. I believe otherwise, other than no standard in reoporting (don't let me start the control/processing issue), the monitoring technology still not what it should be. Take bottomhole pressure monitoring as example, the bottomhole gauges are routinely installed in GoM offshore field but they are still rare in onshore field. Also, where to hang the gauge is still open for debate. IMHO, the DOF for now is another name for "data storage". What is your?
