美石油巨头康菲向中石化出售46.5亿美元资产

据国外媒体报道，康菲石油（ConocoPhillips，COP）周一宣布，将作价46.5亿美元向中石化所属中国石化国际石油勘探和生产公司（Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Co.）出售公司所持有辛克鲁德（Syncrude）9.03%的股份。
这笔交易正等待中国和加拿大两国政府的批准，预计将于今年第三季度完成交易。
康菲石油主席兼CEO吉姆穆尔瓦（Jim Mulva）在声明中表示，“这将是康菲石油去年10月宣布的100亿美元资产剥离计划的重要组成部分。我们很高兴中石化国际勘探和生产公司认识到了这一资产的价值。（孔军）

Given the inflation hazard, $100 oil is not a out-of-mind number by the end of this year. But $1000 is.

A CoP ex-colleague and fellow forum member confirmed there is a China flag flying in CoP campus along with other country flags. Is this is the connection to the deal, I don't think so.

But either way, this deal helps CoP to reach the half mark of CoP goal to unload $10B. The windfall from this deal may let this old timer to attend this year world fair.
